Ducks outfox mink on Lough Conn

DUCK TALES: Meanie the Mink (look left on the rocky shore) was on the prowl along the shores of Lough Conn when he spotted a nice duck dinner! Fortunately, Mr and Mrs Mallard were more than a match for their hunter - and I'm glad to report that after several attempts to get close to his prey, Meanie the Mink had to give up. Nature, at its toughest, is a game of survival for both the hunter and hunted – something I was reminded of on a recent walk along the shores of Lough Conn when I noticed a mink stalking a duck and drake as the pair swam nearby.
